The Greater Moment

The Greater Moment

And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

Luke 1:35

And she brought forth her firstborn Son,…

Luke 2:7

…she brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus.

Matthew 1:25

Without My birth, there would have been no redemption. Yet, My birth is still the second greatest gift given to the World. The first was My death. My death will always and forever be the greater moment. It was the moment when the fate of mankind was sealed. There will be no other and no other means by which one can know Me or live eternally with Me in glory. My birth was a necessary means to find My way to the cross. I am moved that My people honor the moment of My point of entry into their realm. Through My birth, I was able to live and experience life as you, My children, experience it. For that was a vital part to My relationship with My people. I too am grateful for My birth and as it was the starting point for being reunited with the one’s I love so dearly in fellowship. Remember I chose to come and dwell and die – I chose because I love. Love, what greater Birthday Present could there be. You have mine – will you not give Me yours?

Battle Can Be Easy

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. – 1 Peter 5:8-9

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. – 1 John 4:4

Children, Children, Children you are in a battle and as long as your physical body draws breathe you will be in a battle. On that day when you come to be in glory with Me then, you will cease to battle. The battle however, does not have to be so hard. It is made hard by a couple of things that you, My children, do daily when dealing with your worst enemy, Lucifer. He is a defeated foe, but not one to be taken lightly while your human tents remain in the earthly realm.

Remember:

Lucifer is waiting to devour any and all aspects of your life. He will devour you entirely – eternally – if he can. If he loses that battle, then he moves on to devouring your use to others, the kingdom, and Me. If he loses that battle, he will move on to devouring your daily walk with Me, your daily enjoyment of the abundant life I want for you to have. Then lastly, he will attempt to devour one moment or event at a time. Nevertheless, he will never give up his attempts to devour as many aspects and moments of your life as he possibly can.

I am within you, and with Me, you are well able to overcome anything and everything Lucifer has to bring against you. I made overcoming possible for you on the cross.

Key to you overcoming him is to remain sober minded in your thinking and actions. To always be vigilante and recognize when he is attempting to ensnare you in your behavior and inner attitudes.

Always remember I am there, keep your faith in My faithfulness. Then RESIST; so many battles can be won at the onset by resisting whatever temptation the clever one brings when he swaggers up.

Wisdom from the Lord’s Spirit

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
Isaiah 11:2

If this Spirit rest upon Me and I rest within you then should you not posses what it says here that I posses?  When you deal with a person or situation most of the time, you only know a small amount of the truth.  You need – you must have, My Spirit and the wisdom, understanding, counsel, knowledge and might to deal with the person and situation.  Often, many do not however; yet, they attempt to believe that they do.  They are not in tune with My Spirit within them.  Did I not say that all could speak My Words and Will at times in order to edify and build one another up?  Yet, so few are able.  Their Spirit is not clean, their hearts are not filled with love, and their Spirits are dull, numb, or deaf to My Voice.  Do you want to be able to see the inside and not just the outside of a situation or person?  Then clean your spirit, open your hearts and unplug your ears, then, I will give you wisdom, understanding, counsel, and insight beyond your ability, knowledge, and might.  Then you will be able to be the vessel through which I can break the bondages off another.  First, you must be able to SEE!

Psalms 34: 4, 7, 18,19

I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.
The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Psalms 34: 4, 7, 18,19

Why must My children try to compare their affliction to that which I suffered on their behalf?  Their cross is not the cross I carried.  My cup is not their cup.  Can they not just look upon the love displayed through the cross I carried and the cup I drank from and recognize that the same love will also lift the afflictions that now surround them.  Because I have done this for them, does not mean they too must suffer some horrendous thing that in some way will be a shadow of what I did.  There is no earthly suffering that will be a shadow of what I did for them on the Cross.  Only pure love understands that deed.  I ask them to carry their cross, not to suffer terrible affliction as a means to compensate for My deed on the Cross.  They, not I, have made it into such.  This view is twisted and does not represent My love for them or their love for Me.  I have said I would free them from their fears, I will have My Servants protect them, My Spirit will be in that moment of agony that they just cannot contain or understand and I will see them through the many, yes many, afflictions that life will bring.  All I ask is for their love; devotion to the humble realization that My blood is the righteous coat they wear (for this is what it means to be made righteous), and a life that is given to living out My principles as I have laid them down (for this is what it mean to be a righteous person).  I never ask them to be the Perfect Sacrificial Lamb that many falsely believe they must and that it is godly to be.

Fruit or No Fruit

Fruit or No Fruit

When a Christian looks at their daily life over a span of time, they should be able to see a continual progression in the consistency in which they display the fruit[s] of the Holy Spirit.  Without a consistent growth in this are we must consider ourselves backslidden of sorts.  When we are committed to our relationship with Christ and daily doing things, which feed that relationship; i.e. prayer, reading and pondering the Scriptures, listening to worship and praise music, Bible study, etc. we are going to grow and manifest the character of Christ more and more.  If our commitment is half hearted, we may find ourselves stagnant.  If we are not committed at all, we will soon be in a backslidden state.

The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, But a good man will be satisfied from above. – Proverbs 14:4

Backslider in Hebrew means:
5472. to flinch, i.e. (by impl.) to go back, lit. (to retreat) or fig. (to apostatize):— backslider, drive, go back, turn (away, back).

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.  –  Galatians 5:22-24
