The Phantom of Fear Continued Re: The Spirit

Posted Wednesday December 5th 2007

Continuing with our look into the term “the spirit” our questions will be based on that Greek definition.

4151.  from 4154; a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; figuratively. a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by implication.) vital principle, mental. disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy Spirit:— ghost, life, spirit, mind. 4154.  to breathe hard

This next question will be a challenging question in many ways. You will have to search and condense your thoughts. Take each bolded and underline word / phrase from above [also listed below] and share one thought, one sentence in length; on how this aspect of the meaning of the word “spirit” either relates to life, fear, the verse we are studying [2 Timothy 1:7], or all three. This thought is not meant to exhaustive on the topic at all. It is simple meant to be one, 1, thought.
